Barnes 140 gr XBT

Like many of Barnes’ bullets, the 140 gr XBT begins to expand almost immediately on impact as the four petals separate at the tip and continue to slice through tissue even as the petals rotate from the spin imparted to the bullet.  The XBT  has a G1 Ballistic Coefficient (BC) of .394 and a muzzle velocity measured as 2,700 fps from a 20″ test barrel (approx 2,800 fps from a 24″ barrel).  This round works very well on deer, antelope, and caribou.  Available only in a premium hard plastic slip-top box of 20.
