This load features the dramatic impact of the Hornady V-MAX bullet and superb accuracy at high velocity. If you want more field time with your favorite deer rifle, this is an great way to control predators or prairie dogs in the off-season. This 120 gr bullet with a G1 Ballistic Coefficient (BC) of .268 has a muzzle velocity of 2,900 fps from a 20″ barrel (or 3,000 fps in 24″). The V-MAX polymer tip provides an enhanced aerodynamic shape and is designed to be pushed back into the lead core on impact leading to sudden expansion and massive tissue disruption.
